Original lineup illustration by Audrey Schilt. Created for Ralph Lauren and displayed for the design team during development of the Spring 2001 Ready-to-Wear collection; a multi-figure working sketch with refined runway character, executed in markers.
The lineup sheet captures four evening columns in graphic black-and-ivory: at left, a cami-strap windowpane column with a square neckline and low open back; next, a deep V-neck windowpane sheath with wide tank straps; third, an off-the-shoulder portrait-neck column with tiny cap sleeves and a low back in vertical stripes; and at right, a strapless windowpane column with a straight bandeau top and a long slit on the wearer’s left.
One of a kind, signed and matted presentation, suitable for framing.
